Questions: 2/9 divide 5/6
1/10 divide 1/5
3 1/6 divide 1 2/3
First I estimated the question by using a diagram to see which one is less or greater. How did I used it? I used by questioning "how many groups of 5/6 are in 2/9?" and then I drew diagram of 5/6 and drew a diagram of 2/9 which leads me to 2/9 is lesser then 5/6.
How did I find the answer?
I found the answer my using the reciprocal method because its much easier for me to find the answer.
So my answer for this question is 12/45.
I estimated it using a diagram to see which one is less or greater which leads to me to 1/5 is greater then 1/10. Same this I did with the first question.
How did I find the answer?
I used the reciprocal method again because its much easier for me to find the answer.
So my answer for this question is 5/10.
First I convert each mixed fraction to an improper which leads to 19/6 divide 5/3. Then I couldn't estimate is because it was improper.
I used the reciprocal way to answer my question and it equals to 57/30 I cant make it a proper fraction because it cant.
So my answer for this question is 57/30
