Two Step Multiplication:

3n+4=19

3n+4-4=19-4

3n= 15

3       3

n=5

Now verify:

3n+4=19

3(5)=4=19

15+4=19

19=19

Two Step Division 

x

3 +2= 0

x

3 +2-2= 0-2

(-3)x 

     -3 = -2 (-3)

x=6

Now verify:

  x 

-3+2=0 

 6 

-3+2=0 

-2+2=0

0=0

Distributive Property:

This is the worst kind of algebra, in my opinion. I'll show yo how to do it in my stratedgy:

 4 (m - 3) = 12
m - 3
m - 3
m - 3
m - 3
---------
4m - 12 = 12

Now it's time for the math definitions!!!Because I am not modelling these questions.

Math Definitions 

Variable - A letter that represents an unknown number

Constant - A number that does not change at all
Coefficient - The number that is multiplying the variable
